Netbeans v6.0 is awesome

If you have heard of Sun support Netbeans Java IDE, you should download and take a look at the upcoming version 6.0. I’ve downloaded and installed the Beta 2 version and it is simply awesome. Over the years, Netbeans has just made so many great improvements to the IDE and the upcoming version 6.0 of Netbeans is surely no exception.

Their focus on improving UI tools has been exceptional in the upcoming Netbeans v6.0. If you’re starting to learn developing java mobile software you will love the available tools to help you out in development. One major feature is the included Visual Game Designer tool that makes it easy to create game screens, objects, sprites or characters.

There are also lots of examples to help you start learning how to create your own java mobile applications. There are java mobile game examples also available to start you out. The Netbeans online wiki has also several documents on how-to’s. You will find some more java mobile samples at the Netbeans IDE Sample Applications site.

Download the Netbeans v6.0 Beta 2 IDE and see for yourself.

  1. Hello,

Great blog! I loved it and added to my netvibes home.

About NetBeans 6.0: It is really amazing, the intelligence of the code editor is almost getting as equal as Visual Studio 2005.

And it features speed improvements, not the same as a native C++ software, but for sure it is a better than earlier versions.

The cool new thing is also the Mobile Game Editor, and the packages for it.

I am actually using it for producition, but cant wait for the final release.

    Cya,
    Alfred
