M-Sudoku screen shotsM-Sudoku is a J2ME version of the popular SuDoKu puzzle game. The name Sudokuâ„¢, which means single digits, is a trademark of puzzle publisher Nikoli Co. Ltd. in Japan. It has become a popular logic-based number puzzle on the PC and on the mobile phone.

The objective is to fill a 9×9 grid so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3×3 boxes contains the digits from 1 to 9, only one time each. A partially completed grid is generated and displayed to the user who needs to fill-up the missing numbers of the puzzle.

There have been variants of the game that have crop up but the original 9×9 grid Sudoku game still provides a good exercise for the mind. You can play it on the way to work while travelling (at least not when you’re driving!) to keep your mind off traffic.

M-Sudoku is freely available and you can download a copy of the game at the M-Sudoku download page.
