NetBeans v6.0 released, get it now!

After a couple of beta releases and a couple of release candidates, NetBeans v6.0 is finally out. I have been eagerly awaiting for the release of this major version mainly because of the features that have been added that makes creating a java mobile software a lot easier. You’ll also find the mobile game designer feature a big boon towards creating mobile java games.

The 6.0 release includes significant enhancements and new features, including a completely rewritten editor infrastructure, support for additional languages, new productivity features, and a simplified installation process that allows you to easily install and configure the IDE to meet your exact needs.

Now that the NetBeans v6.0 is finally out, I’m already thinking of a couple of java mobile software ideas that I can develop using NetBeans v6.0 to test it’s features. I wanna find out first hand just how much ease in creating J2ME software has been put into the new NetBeans IDE.

You can download it at www.netbeans.org.
