A look at Vivendi’s Urban Attack

Urban Attack 1Urban Attack, the first person shooter from Vivendi, is a must have (even if you’re not into FPS)! Trying out Urban Attack is actually the first mobile game that makes me realize mobile phones have really become portable and powerful computers.

After installing Urban Attack on the mobile phone I simply didn’t expect this kind of a game on a mobile phone. Urban Attack is (very) different from what you’d normally expect of a mobile game. This Java mobile game has started a whole new mobile gaming experience. Vivendi has raised the level of mobile gaming in Urban Attack. Creating a 3D vector game for such a wide set of mobile phones is quite a feat on it’s own.

After playing with Urban Attack a bit, I just couldn’t wait to create this blog to tell you that this game is something that you should really try for yourself. This is the future of mobile gaming starting right here on this mobile game.

To give you an idea of the game story. The Urban Attack game is set in 2046, in the years following the third war in the Ukraine. A highly organized Russian Mafia is now in control of the Russian government. The main character, Yuri, is a 17-year-old agent in the UCCK network of technology and psy-ops experts set up by the Russian Mafia to operate covertly in the United States. The reason for the creation of the UCCK is unknown as are the details of Yuri’s past. Yuri has a phenomenal aptitude for understanding sophisticated weaponry and knows that any attempt to discover the truth will be a very dangerous pursuit.

Here are some screen shots of the mobile game. More about it later. Now, it’s back to the Urban Attack mobile game for me. :-) You can find out more about Urban Attack at www.Urban-Attack.com.
