The Legend of Spyro™: The Eternal Night

The Legend of Spyro, which started on the PlayStation 2 and other game consoles, is now available on mobile phones. I’ve never really played the console game version but playing the java mobile phone game version kinda gotten me curious as to what the console version looked like.

The Legend of Spyro is about a little but mighty purple dragon’s adventures. During the game levels you encounter different types of elementals that can be defeated using a specific type of dragon’s breath. Spyro’s strength and power can be replenished by gathering certain objects during the level.

The detail of the graphics on a Nokia N80 is very good and the sprite animation is very acceptable and smooth. The game levels should be exciting and easy enough for kids and adults alike. The mobile game remembers the levels you have finished so it should be no problem continuing from the level where you left off in case you get “interrupted” on the road or at work.

The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night java mobile game published by Vivendi Games Mobile was awarded the Best Mobile Video Game Award at the second annual Video Game Festival, in Montreuil, France. It is now available in the market so you should have no problems buying a copy. The Spyro™ video game franchise to date has sold more than 15 million units globally and continues to be a big hit among both mobile and traditional console gamers.

The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night mobile game gives players the chance to guide Spyro through 13 graphically stunning levels, specially adapted for mobile phones. The mission is to collect the four elemental powers that will enable Spyro to halt the resurrection of the Dark Master. As Spyro’s powers are gradually unlocked, players will uncover the mysteries of the bizarre universe and the many enemies that populate it.
