A surge in jobs requiring NetBeans

While reading some articles today, I found an interesting post by Octavian Tanase regarding the sudden surge in jobs requiring NetBeans skills.

In his blog, he included a graph that shows a growth in jobs requiring NetBeans skills. I’ve included a copy of the graph below which was taken from www.indeed.com.

NetBeans Job Trends graph

I kinda got curious about jobs that require Eclipse so I checked out the graph for Eclipse jobs:

Eclipse Job Trends graph

What’s interesting is that during the period between July 2007 and October 2007, NetBeans experienced a 25% growth while Eclipse experienced a decrease of 25%. Does it mean that developer jobs are shifting from Eclipse to NetBeans?
