NitroStreet Racing mobile game

NitroStreet Racing mobile game 1I started playing the Nitro Street Racing mobile game from Gameloft and one thing that makes it entertaining is that it offers different story lines during game play.

The mobile game offers two playing modes – single race and “The City is Mine”. The Single Race mode offers just that — a single race.

In “The City is Mine” play mode, you start the game by arriving in a city looking for ways to earn money thru racing.

There are two ways to find out the race / competitions available in a city limit. One is to go around the city and look for them using your car. The other is to access a map where you can browse thru a list of the competitions available. By selecting an item you can go straight to the location. The competition can run different scenarios. It can be a simple race, beat the clock or last man standing.

The chances of you winning will depend on how good your driving is (of course), the type of racing car you have and the tuning you have done on your car. Available car types are unlocked depending on how you progress thru the game. The type of tuning (car color, engine, suspension) available is also unlocked in the same manner. As you rake in the dollars, you can spend the money buying the upgrades.

The graphic screens are good especially going through the streets of the Red Dragon area at night with all those light. Speedwise, I didn’t notice any jerks in the animation.

The mobile game allows you to set a couple of options for sound and vibration for that increase in game experience. The five neighborhood maps should provide hours of game play. You can even ride around the streets just to explore (and maybe run the risk of getting caught by the cops and paying money for your release).

Here’s some screen shots of the NitroStree Racing Java mobile game:

I too enjoy the Nitrostreet racing game.
But, can you please tell me how to win the sprint races in THE CITY IS MINE- Eastern Industrial district. I am racing at speeds of 180-200. I follow the driving path, but there seems to be no finish line. The clock runs out in both races. The map directions aren’t clear. The map does reveal your progress, but it really doesnt show you where you are suppose to end up (finish line). In other words, you start here and need to finish here.
I would greatly appreciate any advice or feedback on these particular sprint races.
If you do respond, can you include RE: Nitrostreet Racing. I receive a lot of emails, and I don’t want to miss yours.

    Thanks
    Weinert

    Hi Weinert,

It’s actually on the map on the upper left corner of the screen. It’s the round-cornered square that has a black and white checkered pattern (similar to the finish line flag in races). You have to drive into the direction of that black and checkered marker. It’s a bit hard looking at the road and at the same time looking at the map to where you are suppose to go but you’ll get the hang of it.

    Hope that helps.
