Diamond Twister mobile game

The Diamond Twister mobile game kinda reminds me of a game called Jewels but with a “twist” to it. I actually liked playing Jewels and getting Diamond Twister on my mobile phone is such a welcome addition to the mobile games I can play.

The graphics and the game speed is okay. Instead of having to play a straight-forward game of Jewels, Gameloft added several modes of game play to the Diamond Twister including a storyline based mode. In the story, as a player of Diamond Twister you become a jewel / gem collector wherein you are tasked to get a certain type of gem in a particular place. In order to get the gem, you need to complete a level which comprises a series of Diamond Twister games with each level a bit harder than the previous. As the game progress, some new levels are unlocked which you can play.

The other game modes include endless mode, magic stones, reveal letters. Endless mode is simply unadulterated continuous game of Diamond Twister (I particularly like this one when I have idle time or waiting time — no frills).

In the magic stones mode, you need to flip the gems and remove them from the screen to find a specific stone hidden underneath one of them. If you are able to reveal the stone before time runs out then you complete the level. In reveal letters, instead of a specific stone, you will need to find the letters of a given word before time runs out.

Diamond Twister is the perfect game for you if you like puzzles and would like to keep game play simple. It’s very easy to learn, very entertaining and keeps your mind and eyes sharp. And of course since it’s a mobile game, you can play it anywhere as long as you have your mobile phone with you. Although I’d advice not playing the game while driving.
