A bit of a change here and there

After almost a year of writing on this blog, I’ve finally made some changes to the Wordpress theme to make it look “more presentable” in the other web browsers. It should now look nice on Firefox (whether you’re using Windows or Linux — yup there are subtle differences).

But most of the challenge is getting it all look the same in Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 6 and 7. Even thought I know more that I used to a year ago about Wordpress, HTML, CSS — it’s still a drag having to make things work in IE6.

I think anyone who has to work on web pages has been really waiting for the day when IE6 will disappear into obsolescence. There shall be rejoicing on the Net! And we’ll have more time to do other things when that day comes.

I hope you notice the new spiffy looking calendar background, thanks to learning more about how to use Inkscape to create them.

Enough of the new aesthetics and let’s move on.
