I’ve play quite a number of mobile Java games ever since I started JavaMidlet and posted them on mobile Java games. I’ve never really gotten to update my Recommended list of J2ME games so I’m doing it now.

This list started when I got to play Assassin’s Creed on my mobile phone and was the first on my list. Here’s some of the other mobile Java games that I liked. It’s coming off the top of my head so I’ll try to update it whenever I can.

Adventure / Arcade

Assassin’s Creed - when this came out, I quickly noticed how the graphics were really made different.

Prince of Persia Classic - true to it’s name it’s a classic, exciting on the PC, exciting on the mobile phone.

Magnum PI - this mobile Java game was simply fun and enjoying.

Racing

Ferrari World Championships - Another great racing game on the mobile phone

Asphalt 3: Street Rules - One of the best racing games I’d played on a mobile phone.

Sports

Wimbledon 2008 - I enjoy watching tennis and playing it on the mobile phone is not any different

Midnight Bowling 2 - Loved it.

Kobe Bryant Pro Basketball 2008 - Never thought basketball could be this exciting on a mobile phone.

Strategy

Swat Elite Troops - Unique team assault strategy game. Many scenarios of game play.

Multi-player

4×4 Extreme Rally 3D - Great 3D racing game especially when racing with another person.

TibiaME - a MMORPG for mobile phones. Pretty cool to be able to have MMORPG on my mobile phone.
