Apple doing away with Developer NDA

This should be really welcome news to all the iPhone developers out there and provides some hope that Apple will be more open to getting J2ME and Flash into the iPhone. It seems that Apple has decided that it will do away with the current non-disclosure agreement it has with iPhone developers and publishers

The bit too restrictive NDA of Apple with it’s developers and publishers for the iPhone has really created some inconvenience so much so that it’s stifling the growth of the iPhone platform. This goes to show that Apple is listening to it’s developer and publisher community so that the continued growth of the iPhone is sustained.

I for one was really turned off when I first heard of the NDA. It’s good to hear that Apple is now taking a step back and making some changes. In a new world of open mobile platforms, it doesn’t seem to be a sound business sense.

Let’s all hope that Apple would open up it’s arms to developers and publishers around the globe.
