Radiobee Internet radio J2ME application for mobile phones

radiobeeHere’s an freely available Internet radio application developed using mobile Java that should work on just about any cell phone that has support for J2ME. The Radiobee mobile Java application is created by Smart Mobile Solutions.

When you install it on your cell phone, you can search and listen live mp3 Internet radio stations. If you download a free version, we do not charge you. However, make sure you have UNLIMITED data plan, otherwise your carrier will charge you for the extra data traffic. Most J2ME enabled mobile phones are compatible. A Blackberry version of radioBee is also available while an Android version is under development.

With Radiobee you can also add radio stations if it broadcasts in mp3 format just by entering the station URL. You can listen to any internet radiostations which use ShoutCast or IceCast server for internet broadcasting in mp3 format. It also enables you to search by name and/or genre from radioBee menu.

Using radioBee is simple. Just selecte a radio station from the menu. Volume control is done by using the left and right buttons of the cellphone joystick/joypad. You can customize radioBee’s Buffer size to compensate for your mobile phone’s speed.

RadioBee is ad supported so they collect some user information for ad generation.

Visit the RadioBee website.

Download radioBee from your cell phone.
