Lots of news and forum talk about Google and HTC’s upcoming mobile phone the HTC Dream. From the looks of it, the cell phone will have a 528mhz CPU from Qualcomm.

I’ve just read an email about Google’s explanation of why the bluetooth API for Android won’t be in version 1.0 of the SDK. It’s kinda sad ‘coz we’d have to also see some delays in I would imagine pretty good ways of using bluetooth in an open mobile platform. Google explains …

The last couple of weeks has kept me pre-occupied a lot but its good to be back and posting online once again. I sure missed a lot of things that has been happening like Google’s recent release of version 0.9 of the Android SDK. I’m downloading it right now to give it a spin.

Bank of America via Banc of America Strategic Investments Corp has just invested in mFoundry. mFoundry is a company that focuses on mobile applications for the financial sector. They are also the creators of the mobile ajax development tool for J2ME called mojax,. The mojax project is headed by Rodney Aiglstorfer and has Craig Setera (creator of EclipseME) as Technical Lead.

Looks like it’s good to go! Innaworks, a New Zealand company, has entered the beta testing period for their alcheMo product. It enables standard J2ME applications to run on the iPhone and iPod.

Looks like somebody got adventurous and resulted in getting the Android open mobile platform running on the Nokia N810. Pretty cool don’t you think?

Does it look like we won’t be waiting that much longer for the first Android mobile phone from HTC? Pocket-Lint has posted an article about an invitation by HTC for a launching event entitled “Witness the next wave of HTC Innovations”.
