This should really push the envelope a bit more further. Now we can have a solid-state hard disk on the mobile phone instead of those microdrive equipped cell phones like the Samsung SGH-i300.

The coming months in the world mobile market will be very (VERY) exciting! 2005 estimates put the number of mobile phone users at 2 billion. That amount is probably safe to put at 3 billion today. This figure is expected to grow more in the coming year and everyone is watching as things unfold.

Things have been really changing in the mobile industry. Key activities like Google’s announcement of its open mobile platform called Android have contributed in bringing us closer to the convergence of the mobile phone and the personal computer.
