Well I guess it didn’t took that long before some great developer came out with the idea of creating an Android plugin for the NetBeans IDE. I just downloaded the plugin and installed it on my NetBeans 6.0 setup.

How does Android in Eclipse compare with J2ME in NetBeans? I kinda got curious about J2ME and Android source code so I tried creating a simple program and compare the resulting source code.

NetBeans.org is migrating its code repository from CVS (cvs.netbeans.org) to Mercurial (hg.netbeans.org). This change will effect all community members who are integrating code changes to repository.

While I was Googling to read about what other people have say about Android, I came across the blog of Simon Moris and his article about Android. He provides a very clear and simple explanation what Android is and goes on to ask “Is Android ‘Java’?”

I’ve been looking around for support of PHP on the NetBeans IDE and up to now hasn’t found one. Maybe I’m not looking good enough or there is just isn’t any.
